During this class, we will be talking about how good quality fats are an important part of a nutrient dense, healthy diet.  Without it, we can’t have optimum health.

Come and hear about the fascinating research of Dr. Weston Price, who wrote “Nutrition and Physical Degeneration.”  Dr. Price studied indigenous people all over the world and found perfect health among people that were not eating processed foods.  All were eating lots of good fats including animal fats and fats from nuts and seeds.

We will compare today’s standard American diet to an old fashioned traditional diet and bust the myths of a low fat diet too!

Susan Wichmann is a licensed physical therapist and yoga instructor. Her passion for nutrition and health came when she was able to heal herself from an autoimmune disease.  She did this through diet and supplements alone.  Susan discovered that we have the power to create our own health by feeding our bodies what they need.

Laurie Meyer, MS RDN CD is president of Laurie Meyer Nutrition.  She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Dietitian in the state of Wisconsin.  She has contributed to hundreds of published articles on nutrition and has authored nutrition chapters for several books.  She co-authored the Five Ingredients for Healthy Living cookbook with her sister and presently volunteers with the Weston A. Price Foundation Ozaukee and Washington counties chapter.
